Primary School Partnerships

Kayaking

Introductory sessions and Paddle UK certified training courses, a fun and safe experience on the river Stour.

RYA Courses 

Our sail training centre delivers dinghy sessions for 8-16yr olds at Manningtree beach. Opportunities to learn how to sail a dinghy with our RYA qualified sailing instructors.  

The Blue Mermaid

The Thames Sailing Barge Blue Mermaid is an authentic replica of the original Blue Mermaid built in the Mistley shipyard of FW Horlock in 1930.  In partnership with the Sea-Change Sailing Trust, The Stour Blue Water Pass Trusts arranges 5-day live aboard sail training and life skills educational experiences for teenagers.

Team MBP

Team MBP for our more experienced sailors and potential future instructors. During the season extra sessions are provided for a small fee for young sailors to develop their skills and gain further experiences.

All of our activities are subsidised or provided free of charge. We also provide bursaries for those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate.
